The day was St George’s day, and also the most important appointments thus far my transition.

I was picked by up by a friend of mine all ready and packed to go, we headed to the St James' Boulevard coach station in Newcastle. We got there at about 9.45, and I boarded the coach at 10 am soon after it came into bay 3. Hi everyone

I received a letter on wednesday 11th of February at about 12.25 pm, it was from Mr Terry's secretary at the Spire Hospital in Leicester, naturally I was trembbling and was unsure as to whether to open it up or not, so I text my friends. The general concensus was "open it now" So I did it, and it said if I wish to arrange an appointment please call Nuffield Health outpatients.

Since I was last on the site in May, many things have happened.

In September,
I underwent my first transsexual surgery, I had Thyroid Chondroplasty and Thyroid approximation, i.e Trachea Shave and Vocal Cords surgery which has totally feminized my voice. I no longer get sir'd on the phone, which is nice.

In October,
I have received my Gender Recognition Certificate and Female Birth Certificate, this legally recognises my legal gender status as a woman. I have recieved a letter from my PCT that… Continue

Transition Journey (Part 1)


I started with my GP,
in two thousand and five.
The process called transition,
and suddenly came alive.


Waited eighteen months,
before being seen by my psych.
To my surprise I was diagnosed,
not told to get on my bike.


Recommended for hormones,
and voice therapy.
Results have been good,
according to others not me.
