Trannyspace

A place for all transgender people and those who admire them!

Zohra

What is your opinion about this website??? A little survey!

I wonder what you folks think about Trannyspace so far.

I know we dont have a lot of members yet, but i am doing a hell of a lot of work to promote the site on the web and this is even MORE work then CREATING the site.

Anyway, i am very satisfied so far, the site is very active and all the members are kindaparticipating in their way...

I just ask for your opinions. What do you think of Trannyspace. Are you satisfied about it, what could make it cooler and more fun, what is missing and what should be deleted?

Every website needs its time to grow, but without the support and input of your members, you are nowhere.

So, please... let me know.

Groetjes,
Zohra

I enjoy visiting your site and joining some of the threads (conversations/discussions). I wasn't able to visit it for the last couple of weeks due to a computer virus which I finally got cleaned up. I won't be visiting any sites next week as it is my annual trek to Sturgis Bike Week in South Dakota.

Hi there!, Im a new commer so forgive me if I have a skewed perception of the site or if I seem abit green :P

So far, I am enjoying the site and look forward to meeting many more members. As I was browsing around at other site on the web, I found some things I wanted to share/post here but could not find the right forum catagory. Some of the posts were not necesarily TG related but thought it would be worth posting anyway. My first impression of the layout here is things are somewhat segreggated, which is not entirely all bad when you seek a safe/secure environment where one can find support from those who share a similar disposition. However, I feel it's important to promote unity to effectly pull together all our members as a community. We are all different but many, if not all, of us share some comonalities that can act as a conduit in a communal bond.

With that said, I would suggest adding cross disposition forum catgories versus seggregating conversation by gender identity ( ie. m-f gender talk; f-m gender talk; TV talk, etc..). Many of us distain the idea of being forced into a role/action defined by gender. furthermore, I know, all of us are not completely defined by our gender identity alone and many of us share common interests in hobbies, places we have or wish to vacation, affinities, music, movies and ideas of humor. Although I am in favor of keeping the other catgories as support forums(or subscription groups); adding additional forum catagories such as jokes and other lighthearted subjected matters would be favorable by breaking through gender classifications, regardless of dispostion, and make us a better more encompasing community.

It seems to me, regardless of our approval, being transgender attracts positive and negative types of attention, which we exploit by labeling/identifying our selves with the word "tranny." the truth of it is we can either suclude our selves from the world, or we can open our selves up to the world. That is a choice we all must make as individuals on a personal level and should make as TrannySpace community. I believe, we can accept all people if we wish all people to accept us. I think, we have the leverage in the virtual world that does not exsist in the real world by moderating the negativity with site moderation.

Zohra please don't delete me now heehee!

that's my two cents.. hope I was not too provocative....

Hii Mei,

Thanks for participating :-) hehehe,,, ofcourse i will not delete you, you silly girl hehehe...

Well you know, for your 'problem' we created 'groups ':-) every member is entitled to create their own discussion group. As you can see all groups have their own discussion forums in it.... but if you have soe suggestions for categories for the regular forum, i would be more then please to create some.

The problem is that i do most work here all alone, i DO have some moderators but they dont know much about designing and html and stuff so i have to do all these things alone and sometimes i just have no time to create or think of new things and some things will be forgotten... this is why this is a community that has to serve his self for the most of the time. People can write blogs, create groups and so much more. but i DO take your critics very serious and see what i can do with it.

Then, why don't you start your own group here if there is something that is missing? Everybody can create one.... and if you like to make it REALLY cool, i suggest you use SPROUT to create an awesome group that can serve as a minisite..

Thanks for participating dear Mei :-)

The front page seems very heavy to load and I can't stop that music player fast enough. It's become a challenge every time I log on. Will D get to the radio fast enough to shut it off or will the radio start blasting into D's ears. LoL

As far as community this site is doing as well as can be expected. I know you're working very hard on getting people here. I try to promote it whenever I can.

Love you Zohra!

Hi sweety,

The fact the slow load of the page has to do with the flashelement on it in the top middle of the page. I know some people find the radio annoying but most people AND me too like it. And when i feel annoyed by it, i turn my volume lower :-)

BTW, it's not only Trannyspace i am running, but also a couple of 15 other websites hahaha so you can imagine how busy it is....

There will be changes to the layout in the near future but don't know exactly WHAT yet but you will find out :-)

So, love you too 'D' you're the greatest :-)
